Meet the Sanusi's

I’m Amy, he’s Jerred. We are the Sanusi Family behind Kinship Weddings! Jerred’s daughter Sora is with us part time, and we recently welcomed our little girl Willa in March of 2022. I started out my photography journey how everyone does, right? Painting the guest house office for another photographer! Another wedding photographer in the area had hired me out of college to help her run the business behind the scenes. I slowly became her studio manager and learned all the ins and outs of running a wedding photography business. I then started to assist at weddings and slowly learned the ropes of photographing weddings. I had never even held a professional camera before, but once I got the hang of it I was hooked.

I worked up to shooting weddings on my own, and eventually started photographing families and babies. I loved the relaxed nature of families, and still do to this day! I have been photographing families for about 10 years, and after welcoming my daughter Willa into our family, I have decided to change the structure of my business a bit to open my doors back to weddings! Now here we are, getting in touch with our wedding side once again. We aim to make photos one of the fun parts of your day, making you look amazing in front of the camera, and laugh through the unavoidable awkwardness. We can’t wait to ooh and ahh over your love story, and document it beautifully for you. We only take one wedding per month max, so get in touch asap to start the process!
